Bergdorf Goodman Salon

This project was a design study to explore a new way of approaching in-store sales. Our client, Siegelson, is a merchant of unique jewelry pieces.

In contrast to the walk through counter approach to sales, this concept created a store-in-store experience with a defined entry hall and octagonal library. Clients’ could enter the space and be removed from the context of a department store experience, finding themselves in a quiet, comfortable environment with luxurious architectural fittings. This allowed them to focus on the jewelry and small antiques.

The design study consisted of 2D drawings and 3D renderings of the exterior entry and the interior library.
